Have you ever asked yourself why you get your salary at the end of the month? It’s a habit which most companies follow. But when you listen to the explanation of HR, you just hear reasons for the benefit of the shareholders.
In my former company I was head of HR and about 15 years I introduced the concept of: “we pay the salaries due to the middle of the month”.
I think it is just fair: the employee gives the company a loan for two weeks – he works for 14 days without payment. In the second half of the month, the company gives their employess the same thing vice versa.
You will see, how surprised and amazed your staff will be once you introduce these pattern and finally will lead to more satisfaction and loyalty of your crew.
